AMASIS

AMASIS (Aircraft Maintenance And Spares Information Systems) is an integrated technical management system used by aircraft maintenance departments. It is a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software product.

Thirteen distinct and complementatry modules make up the AMASIS architecture and can be implemented progressively to suite the needs of the customer, providing the benefits of a customised system. These are:

AMASIS will enable the operator to cover requirements in-terms of:-

  • Corrective Maintenance
  • Scheduled Maintenance
  • Logistical functions from the provisioning process

Through the Equipment Card, Follow-up Sheet & Work Orders all maintenance performed on equipment can be managed. Logistic & Labour modules ensure accurate follow-up of any required parts ordered & issued and time spent on maintenance activities. AMASIS uses this data to compute an accurate cost of maintenance actions which incorporate both materials and man hours.

To maximise communication efficiency AMASIS can be used by all parties involved in the maintenence process allowing them to work in synergy using complete and reliable information.
